If you have travelled to the UK from mainland China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Macau or the Lombardy/Veneto regions of Italy, in the last 14 days and are experiencing cough or fever or shortness of breath - stay indoors, phone us on 0141 800 0840 or, if the practice is closed, phone NHS 24 on 111 informing them of your symptoms and your recent travel.  DO NOT LEAVE HOME UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN ADVICE BY A CLINICIAN.

Temporary Registration

If you are ill while staying away from home, you can register with the practice as a Temporary Resident

You can be registered as a Temporary Resident for up to but no longer than three months. This will allow you to be seen by clinicians in this practice while still remaining registered as a permanent patient with your local GP. After three months, if you are still living in the local area and want to remain on our practice list, you will have to permanently register.

When you return to your own home, any medical records held by Keppoch Medical Practice will be forwarded via the Health Board to your own medical practice so that they have a record of your care here.

To register as a temporary patient, please telephone reception on 0141 800 0840 or call in to the practice.

Please note that you cannot register as a temporary patient in the area in which you are already registered.  If you need urgent medical treatment however, we may see you on an 'immediate and necessary' basis.
